To celebrate our official launch, more than 100 senior in-house and internal communications leaders from across the industry joined the In.Comms team at Kitty Hawk Rooftop Bar in London, for a night of prosecco, canapés, and networking, sponsored by Muck Rack, The Romans, and Onclusive.
Representatives from a range of organisations including the BBC, National Trust, OVO, NHS, the House of Commons, Amazon and Google, as well as the PRWeek UK team, joined us for the brand’s first ever networking event.
In.Comms launched last week as a sister title to PRWeek UK to serve in-house comms teams, including those responsible for external comms, corporate affairs, and internal comms.
In.Comms editor Claire Warren took to the stage to highlight the range of content that has already been published, including case studies and campaign stories, research reports, interviews, practical advice and best practice. But she added: “This is a work in progress. In.Comms is for you and we want to make sure it’s meeting your needs. Now we need you to tell us whether we’ve got it right so far and what else you’d like to see us cover.”
Danny Rogers, editor in chief of In.Comms, highlighted the value of both internal and external comms teams and paid tribute to the industry as a whole: “I’ve always been passionate about the comms industry - I truly believe it is one of the UK’s real centres of global excellence - and I’m so proud that we can extend our portfolio with a title for you.”
