Creativity and showcasing value are top of mind for this year’s co-chair duo.

The co-chairs for the In.Comms Corporate Affairs Awards have been revealed.

These awards, in partnership with PRWeek UK, celebrate the outstanding achievements of professionals working across corporate and financial comms, public affairs, pharma and healthcare PR and more.

Victoria Durman (pictured, above right), global head of external communications at consumer healthcare company Haleon, will co-chair this year’s judging panel alongside Doyel Maitra (pictured, above left), corporate affairs director, retail banking at NatWest.

Durman is looking for “creativity” from this year’s entries, as well as “an attempt to push the boundaries and do something really different”. She hopes entrants will be “loud and proud” about the work they do.

Those who can turn corporate affairs into “more than just a profit shield” will be on Maitra’s watchlist: “Organisations are being disrupted and challenged in new ways every day, stakeholder interests are fragmenting and channels to reach our audiences are proliferating. How are we using customer insight, creative campaigning, new channels and colleague activation to tell our story and cut through the noise in the ‘attention economy’? How are we measuring the impact of what we do and showcasing our value in the face of new opportunities and – some might say – existential threats such as AI?”

Maitra’s top tip for entrants this year is to avoid jargon, focus on outcomes instead of outputs and highlight their USP “in a sea of entries”.

Entries are accepted from across the EMEA region. To qualify for the early bird entry fees, ensure your entry reaches us by Thursday 6 November.

More information on how to enter is available on the Corporate Affairs Awards website, as well as a full list of categories
