Fashion PR returns to Paul Smith

After a spell agency-side, a fashion PR specialist has moved back in-house.

Chloe McGrath has left LM Communications, where she was senior PR & VIP account manager, to become senior PR & VIP manager at fashion brand Paul Smith.

She started her new role earlier this month and reports to Georgia Morrison, global head of press & VIP.

McGrath is part of a wider comms team headed by Sean Baker, who was recently promoted to chief brand officer after six years as director of brand and comms.

In a post on LinkedIn announcing her new role, she said: “I’m very happy to share that I have rejoined the Paul Smith team and started my new position as Senior PR & VIP Manager!”

She has “valuable experience in the premium and luxury fashion PR industry” according to her LinkedIn profile.

“Working within dynamic, fast-paced and global renowned brands, I have successfully demonstrated excellent communication skills and my ability to build strong relationships with key media contacts whilst working on global PR, VIP, event and partnership campaigns,” the post adds.

McGrath started out at Hugo Boss, where she spent a year as a PR intern, before joining Saint Laurent as a press assistant in 2019.

She left in 2020 to join Paul Smith as a PR & VIP assistant and was subsequently promoted to press & VIP officer.

McGrath went agency-side in 2023, becoming a PR & VIP account manager at fashion and lifestyle PR agency LM Communications. She was promoted to senior PR & VIP account manager last year.
